These days I am all about jm Curley. For lunch (since I work close by now!) for after work drinks and snacks, and still on my list to try is their secret backroom steak joint, Bogie's Place. jmC serves a ridiculously good burger. It is inexpensive, juicy and expertly proportioned with melted cheddar, an addicting Russian dressing, small squares of caramelized onion and crispy pickle chips. For cocktails, the bartenders work wonders with gin in the notorious 21 Temple Gin & Tonic($9) where Plymouth gets livened up with with yellow chartreuse, bark powder, citrus and soda. The classics stay put but other cocktails rotate, I was a big fan of the Mautone combining Plymouth Gin, Lillet, orange bitters and fino sherry when it was on the menu. The appetizer to try is the corn bread skillet ($5) served piping hot, pooling with warm butter, honey and black pepper. Their zesty-dill housefried pickles ($5) with creole mayoare awesome. Additionally, the beer list is great and so are the staff. Also p h e n o m i n a l - pictured: Seasonal Collins ($9) | gin, wild honey, smoked sea salt, rosemary, soda 5 oz natural beef patty ($7.5) | griddled onions, cheddar, pop's russian dressing, pickles Hemingway Heat ($9) | rhum agricole, maraschino, grapefruit, lime, jalapeno Slaw ($2) | louisiana style Hand-cut fries ($2.5) | skin on, salt, pepper, Heinz
