Cooking, lately

{Summer}
Tomato Basil Linguine
Panko Crusted Cod Fish with rice pilaf, asparagus & tomato.{Fall}
Baked Potato smothered in sour cream with a corn & onion succotash.
Chili Rubbed Steak Tacos with sautéed peppers and onions, cheddar cheese, sour cream, radishes and cilantro.
I did a pretty good job cooking the steak! Mozzarella Pork Cutlet with spaghetti in a lemon butter caper sauce and sautéed zucchini.
No recipes. Just randomness!

  2. I love it. All of it. And I appreciate it. I date a Chef, but I'm not a chef so when I'm in the kitchen I cook simple things, but still find great pleasure in the process and in eating my food!

    Thanks for sharing. The spaghetti w/lemon butter caper and zucchini looks (and sounds) amazing right now. Yum.

  3. I do love seeing your cookings and eats and if you read my next post you'll notice I'm not very creative either. You do seem much more creative than I do :)

  5. The linguine is calling my name. Sometimes simple things are the best... (and, admittedly, I tend to stop reading food blogs that are WAY over my head technically... bc I just will never be able to replicate any of the dishes!)

  6. It is funny because I am going to post a pseudo-confession type blog post today too...I think what makes all of our blogs so enjoyable is that we have different perspectives, topics, etc.

  7. Who said you have to cook like a Michelin chef? I have lots of cookbooks but I never follow recipes exactly, I sort of do what they say, then add a bit here and there... isn't that how it's supposed to be? I think the food you cook is great, lots of veg, too, that's good!

  8. I think that food is plenty creative... and most of all it all looks delicious! I'd want any of that on my table. I'm not super-creative but I'll challenge myself with crazy recipes sometimes.

  15. You are super creative in the kitchen! I am so impressed with every meal in this post and can appreciate their delicious simplicity.

    If you saw some of the scary things that come out of my kitchen you'd realize you are quite talented. :)
