The food and wine at Menton, Chef Barbara Lynch's prix fix fine dining restaurant in Fort Point Channel, is one of the most expensive meals in the city, and it is exquisite. I went during their unofficial restaurant week which made this splurge worthy destination affordable. (Though still expensive!) Chef de Cuisine and Top Chef Season 10 winner Kristen Kish puts out first rate dishes with a stunning presentation and flavor profiles beyond expectation.

I have been twice and meals were fantastic. I was so surprised by how much extra comes out to the table that you never order. So much fun and worth the splurge for a special evening!

ReplyDeleteI wanna go back to Menton just for the mini macaroons. Okay, for the rest of the food, too, but definitely the desserts and the teeny tiny macaroons :)
ReplyDeleteI've been wanting to go but nervous to even look at the menu/pricing haha. good idea to try during restaurant week!
