This first meal I cooked in our new apartment makes great use of my beloved cast iron pan, because it transfers from the stove top directly into the oven. It's Tahini Chicken with Artichokes and Grapes, and it's delicious. Inspired by the flavors of the Mediterranean, the smooth sesame seed sauce gets mixed with honey and lemon for balanced hints of both sweetness and acidity. Sauteed asparagus is a welcome side dish. This one pan recipe came together so easily, I appreciated that I could spend more time unpacking than sweltering in a hot kitchen or doing dishes! Regardless of your dishwasher status, you should totally make this. Find the recipe here (via Beantown Baker and Cara's Cravings.)
What a great flavor combo! I added grapes to meat once per Cara's inspiration and it was excellent!
