Why yes, it is the best of the best* especially when piled with mushrooms and onions, accompanied by a pitcher of Moretti.
*I have multiple favorite pizza locations in the North End; see Galleria Umberto, Antico Forno and Ernesto's. But I do believe it to be true that Regina brick oven pizzas are equally something special. So is their original no frills establishment on the corner of Thatcher and Endicott Streets.

While I've eaten Regina's multiple times, I've never actually eaten inside the establishment. The line always discourages me!
ReplyDeleteI would love to try Regina some day. I've been to Antico Forno a few times but have never gotten their pizza.
ReplyDeleteSuch fun North End recaps!
ReplyDeleteI can't believe I've never been to the original Regina's...going to make this trip asap!
ReplyDeleteNo joke, way back when we actually looked at an apartment RIGHT above Regina. Someone bought it before we could move on it, but we were so excited about the prospect of being that close to Regina!
ReplyDeleteI am a big fan of Regina's especially when I am in the mood for their delicious thick crust!
ReplyDeleteGotta love Regina's! These restaurant snapshots you have been posting lately have been great!
ReplyDeleteI think I already mentioned we took a whole pie from Regina's home one day on the T, soooo good!
ReplyDeletemmm pizza, my favorite.
ReplyDeletei have some more pizza to try in the north end ;)
ReplyDeleteMy mom and sister came up a few weeks ago and we all stayed at the Marriott Long Wharf so I picked up pizza at Regina to bring back to the hotel. It's the best around here.
ReplyDeleteI grew up in the Boston area and your blog brought me right back to there. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteI love your site, but honestly tell you that you need more for him to monitor those who commented with your records.
ReplyDeleteI love pizza - let's go!
ReplyDeleteWhen I got into pizza about a year and a half ago, I tried Pizzeria Regina at their North End location. I loved it! I go to their Allston location more often because the parking situation is easier, but all Boston pizza fans should try the original North End location at least once.
ReplyDeleteI have read so many articles or reviews concerning the blogger lovers but this piece of writing is
ReplyDeleteactually a nice post, keep it up.
