A great way to see Chicago is aboard an Architectural Cruise where major modern skyscrapers and landmarks are eager to impress. Be sure to book tickets a few days in advance, the weekend time slots fill up quickly. I was enthralled with taking in the massive skyline from a different vantage point. This city is certainly a unique and interesting place, much different to me than Boston, but just as easy to fall in love with.
When we were in need of a quick bite to eat after the tour (we had a
wedding to get ready for), local sandwich chain Potbelly's hit the spot
with a chicken salad sandwich and an Oreo shake.
This looks like such a fun trip! I think my sister was actually on one of the architectural cruises the weekend you were there!
