The Landing | Long Wharf

On this past gorgeous Friday afternoon my girlfriends from college made their way into the city. The warm temperature and clear sunny skies called for drinks on the waterfront. We strolled over to The Landing at Long Wharf. I thought it would be a great spot to relax and unwind after a hectic work week. It was, but not without one major fault....
...the margaritas. The Cadillac Margarita pre-made sour mix had me wincing with every sip. It was like drinking a Sweet Tart candy as my friend Laura pointed out. I was disappointed with The Landing for botching one of my favorite summer cocktails!
For the next round, ice cold Corona with lime.
With a bucket of beer you get six for the price of five. Not the deal of the century, but a deal none-the-less. Coronas never looked so pretty and never tasted so good.
It was great to spend time with the girls. I hadn't seen Laura since we visited her in Boulder, Colorado this past April!

Codzilla entrance in the background is pretty hilarious, no?!
Waterfront relaxation at its best if you ask me. This liquid lunch was the perfect way to kick off a holiday weekend.

  4. I despise The Landing. Too many college kids with their collars popped and the drinks always suck. It looks like you had a great time with your friends though and that's all that matters!

On a side note, I went on Codzilla last weekend. It's awesome.

  9. Tricia your drink does not appear on the online menu! In anycase, I changed the description. thanks :)

Melissa - Glad I'm not the only one who thought the drinks sucked! I always appreciate your honesty and I can totally see why you might despise this place. I found us a table in the far corner seperated from the rest of the crowd. haha. And yes, Codzilla is awesome!
